Q – I don’t have natural hair. Can I still use your products?

A – I would think that you can. However, you can try a sample of any of our products and see how it works on your hair.  Essential Joy Natural Products [EJNP] Hair oils are made from natural oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, jojoba, etc., herbs and essentials oils. These oils are easily absorbed into the scalp and do not make the hair greasy if used sparingly.  They soothe, nourish, moisturize and soften the scalp and hair, and help prevent split ends.  These oils are great for all hair types and can be used at room temperature or for hot oil treatments.

A friend of mine who has relaxed hair likes to use Herbal Hair and Scalp Oil, on her scalp. She says it absorbs quickly into the skin and it smells good, too.

On Curly Nikki’s blog, someone asked about using natural products on relaxed hair. This is one of the responses –

There’s really no “blanket” answer to this, but in general, you should be okay. It’s really a trial and error thing–I know that my natural hair doesn’t really like the stuff I used on my relaxed hair, but my relaxed [hair] doesn’t mind the natural stuff.  http://www.curlynikkiforums.com/transitioning-natural-hair/1265-natural-products-relaxed-hair.html
