Is Baby Coconut Oil safe for baby bottoms?

Q. Is Baby Coconut Oil safe to use all over baby even on their butt? I don’t need an ointment just something to use also for diaper changes when I want extra protection like overnight?

Baby Coconut Oil

A. Yes, Baby Coconut Oil is safe to use all over baby, even on cradle cap. It is gentle enough for mature and sensitive skin. Massage gently on skin to soothe and add moisture.

One of my customers has used this product on her baby ever since bringing her home from the hospital. It is safe to use from head to toe!

Baby Coconut Oil contains only the ingredients listed on the label. Here is information about some of the ingredients:

Coconut oil – is a natural moisturizer and skin conditioner: it hydrates the skin superbly and leaves protective coconut oil on your skin. It is one of the best natural nutrition for your hair.

Olive Oil – heals and lubricates the skin.

Beeswax – provides a film of protection against irritants while still allowing the skin to breathe. This barrier may also aid in protecting tender skin. Beeswax also gives added lubrication, moisture, hydration and softness to your hair. It helps to heal, and soften skin and has some antibacterial properties.

Shea Butter – Shea is proven to moisturize, rejuvenate, soothe and heal dry, chapped, irritated and inflamed skin.  It protects the skin, improves its suppleness and elasticity and promotes skin healing. Packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins A and E, Shea butter nourishes and restructures hair.

For a product that is more specific for diaper rash and/or eczema, see Baby Balm.
